David J. Hennes
Chair

David Hennes is Director of Risk Management at The Toro Company, a position he has held since 1995. He is also President of Red Iron Insurance, Ltd. A Bermuda based captive insurer and Toro Subsidiary.

Before joining Toro he spent 20 years with different companies in the area of insurance, claims and risk management. He presently serves as a self-insurers representative on the Board of the Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Association. Previously he served as Director of the Minnesota Risk and Insurance Management Society and the Minnesota Self-Insurers' Association.

He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Thomas.
