Laurence F. Koll

Mr. Koll is a graduate of St. John's University and the University of Minnesota where he was a senior editor of the Minnesota Law Review.

Mr. Koll began his career in the workers' compensation area when he was appointed to the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Commission (now the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals) in 1967. He later spent two years on the staff of the governor, and then returned to the private practice of law. He was the legislative counsel for two decades for the Minnesota Self-Insurers' Association. He also served for fifteen years on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Association.

He was the Senior Partner of Koll, Morrison & Hagstrom and also served as general counsel to the Minnesota Self-Insurers' Security Fund until 2002. He was appointed Executive Director of the Fund in 2004 and has served in that capacity since then.
